Fireball Apple Boozy Biscuit

This dessert biscuit has a hearty cinnamon flavor combined with delicious apple flavors.  Serve at breakfast or as a slightly salty cupcake.

 What is the difference?

Hi-Proof Ingredients:

Makes 12 individual servings 

2 1/2 C Biscuit Mix

1/3 C milk

2/3 C fireball whiskey divided

2/3 C chopped apples divided

3 TBSP brown sugar (for topping)

 

Hi-Proof Directions:

Preheat oven to 450 degrees

Combine biscuit mix, milk, 1/3 C of the fireball whiskey, 1/3 C of the chopped apples in a large bowl and mix until it forms a ball.

Divided the dough into 12 small balls

Place each ball into a martini or margarita mold

Top with the remaining chopped apples.

In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar and 1/3 C of Fireball whiskey.  Heat for 30 seconds in the microwave if it needs to thicken and let cool.

Spoon the brown sugar and whiskey mixture on top of each biscuit.

Bake for 8-10 minutes until tops are brown

 

Lo-Proof Ingredients:

Presentation

The brown sugar and apple toppings are delicious.  You can complement this presentation with some of the following:

- drizzle a simple glaze made with 1 C of powdered sugar and 2 TBSP of Fireball whiskey on each cooled biscuit

- Stick a cinnamon stick into each biscuit

- Serve with a shot of fireball
