Dirty Martini Boozy Biscuit

This is a simple and salty treat that brings the olives and Parmesan cheese to the front - with just a subtle hint of the juniper in the gin.  Delicious as a meal starter.

 What is the difference?

Hi-Proof Ingredients:

Makes 12 individual servings 

2 1/2 C Biscuit Mix

1/3 C milk

1/3 C Dry Gin

1 TBSP olive juice (optional)

1 C chopped olives divided

2/3 C parmesan cheese (for topping).  Any hard grated cheese will do.

 

Hi-Proof Directions:

Preheat oven to 450 degrees

Combine biscuit mix, milk, 1/3 C of the dry gin, olive juice and 1/2 C chopped olives.  Mix until it forms into a doughy ball.

Divide the dough into 12 small balls

Place each ball into a martini or margarita mold

Top each with additional olives and sprinkle on a generous amount of the parmesan cheese

Bake for 8-10 minutes until tops are brown and crips

 

Lo-Proof Ingredients:

Presentation

The melted cheese and olives make for a mouth watering savory topping.  You can complement the look with

- an olive on a cocktail toothpick

- serve with gin flavored butter made by combining 1 C butter with 2 TBSP gin.
